Andy Serkis’ ‘Breathe’ to Open This Year’s BFI London Film Festival
The directorial debut of accomplished actor Andy Serkis is set to open the 61st London Film Festival. Breathe stars a number of acclaimed acting talent, including Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, and is based on the true story of Robert Cavendish. Robert Cavendish was given months to live when he was diagnosed with polio in Kenya; beating all the odds, he survived and became an advocate for the rights of disabled people.

The film festival will take place from the 4th to 15th October and will be Breathe’s European premiere.
