Join Allie Esiri at the National Theatre for a Poetry Reading with a Difference!

Having recently released A Poem for Every Day of the Year following the success of previous anthology A Poem for Every Night of the Year, Allie Esiri will be hosting a poetry reading at the National Theatre on Friday 10th November from 6pm (approximate running time, 45 minutes). Four critically acclaimed actors will be narrating, including Joanna Lumley, Stephen Mangan and Simon Russell Beale, while the event will be live drawn by Chris Riddell (political cartoonist for The Observer, award-winning author and illustrator, and Waterstones Children’s Laureate 2015-2017).

Following the event, Allie Esiri will be signing copies of her latest anthology, A Poem for Every Day of the Year, a book featuring a wealth of much-loved poets such as Keats, W H Auden, Maya Angelou and Kate Tempest that take readers on a journey through the calendar year; highlighting key dates and moments with a range of poems.
