Rio 2016 Olympics on the BBC


Join Clare Balding, Gabby Logan, Mark Chapman and Helen Skelton for the Games

Airing over 3,000 hours of Olympics coverage across all platforms, the BBC will include 550 hours of coverage on BBC One and BBC Four, and full coverage on BBC Radio 5 live, with the Paralympics on 5 live and 5 live Sports Extra. Streaming live action from Rio 2016,  which stretches from the 5th to 21st August (Olympics) and the 7th to 18th September (Paralympics), BBC presenters will pepper the programming with knowledgeable commentary and opinion.

 

Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan, Clare Balding and Helen Skelton will be among those presenting the Games; reporting on the nail-biting competitions throughout the event. Mark Chapman will also host Radio 5 live, which will lead listeners through the Olympic events in Rio.
