Allie Esiri


Allie Esiri read Modern and Medieval Languages at St Catherine’s College, Cambridge.

She co-created the app iF Poems, which launched to great acclaim in November 2011 (Apple Editors’ Choice All Time Favourite App) and the book iF: A Treasury of Poems for Almost Every Possibility, published by Canongate in October 2012 (The Times best poetry books 2012). She was described by Tatler as a “Poetry Powerhouse”

She has been profiled in publications such as The Times, The Sunday Times, and Vogue India, and was interviewed on both BBC Radio 4 Today programme last National Poetry Day and by Claire Armitage for one of her wide-reaching Guardian podcasts.

In 2013 Allie launched The Love Book app which quickly become the Number 1 Top Paid App on the App Store Books section in 5 countries. This was closely followed by her book,The Love Book, which was published by Square Peg in February 2014.
