Leigh’s career took off after his first TV appearance on Channel 4′s ‘Take Over TV’ when his comic talent was snapped up by The Paramount Comedy Channel. He began developing characters and staging meetings in various guises that lead to his own show on ‘Play UK’.

A nomination for Best Newcomer at The British Comedy Awards and three series of the hilarious Channel 4 sketch show Bo Selecta followed and at the end of 2005, Avid Merrion went to Hollywood for Bo in the USA.

Leigh introduced Keith Lemon in 2007 via Keith Lemon’s Very Brilliant World Tour, a comedy travel series for ITV2. He brought mayhem to ITV1 when Keith took the helm of Through The Keyhole, which returned to our screens in 2013 and continues to be a huge hit to date. He fulfilled a lifetime ambition in 2012 when Keith Lemon: The Film (which he co-wrote and starred in) was released in cinemas across the UK and was a box office success.
