Rochelle - a self-proclaimed 'professional multitasker' – is just that. Having enjoyed continued success with The Saturdays, Rochelle now co-hosts ITV’s ‘Ninja Warrior’, is the face of a New Look clothing collection and hosts her own Heart Radio show, all whilst being full-time Mum to Alaia-Mai and Valentina.
At the age of 12, Rochelle secured a place in S Club Juniors – later to be known as S Club 8 – as part of a reality show for Children’s BBC and in 2007 she joined The Saturdays alongside Frankie, Una, Mollie and Vanessa. Their first single ‘If This Is Love’ was a top 10 hit and the girls continue to take the stage by storm following a successful UK Greatest Hits Tour.
Rochelle married Marvin Humes in 2012 and in the same year they welcomed their daughter Alaia-Mai into the world. The family of three welcomed an exciting new addition in 2017 in the form of Rochelle’s second daughter, Valentina Raine.
Rochelle was a regular panelist on the BBC Three panel show Sweat The Small Stuff and Rochelle and Marvin joined This Morning as regular stand-in presenters in 2013. Other more recent presenting credits include her very own Heart Radio show on Saturdays, Ninja Warrior, for which she is currently in her fourth series, and ITV’s The Next Great Magician.
Off-screen, in early 2018 Rochelle announced she was the new face of New Look, curating her own collection, The Rochelle Edit, and she also spearheads the #CurlsLikeUs campaign, encouraging women with naturally curly hair to embrace the curl. Rochelle also has her own face and body cosmetic collection, HiGlow, with a product range that is specially formulated to adapt to multiple skin tones.,
Rochelle has presented BBC’s Children in Need for a number of years, and has several exciting upcoming projects for the rest of 2018 including a book and children’s haircare range.
